What -- An Oath Keepers muster. Oath Keepers and friends will muster and march to the home of Mrs. Vanessa Guerena for a ceremony of memoriam for her late husband Jose Guerena, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Iraq war.

When -- 8:00 a.m. sharp Monday morning Memorial Day, May 30, 2011

Where - The intersection of West Valencia Road and South Wade Road. Take I-10 to I-19 South and exit West Valencia Road to South Wade Road, Tucson, Arizona. See below.

Who - Oath Keepers is calling for all veterans, National Guardsmen, active duty military, current-serving peace officers, firefighters, retired public servants, gun owners, veterans organizations, civic organizations, church groups, student groups, and other patriotic Americans.

Why -- To stand with Oath Keepers at a memorial service for Jose Guerena, a war veteran who was killed by law-enforcement gunfire in his home on May 05, 2011. We wish to honor Jose Guerena's service to this nation and ensure that his death lights the spark which shall lawfully undo present-day policies which militarize our local peace officers and violate our veterans' and gun owners' Fourth Amendment rights.

@egderegor Which is why they are not keeping their oath to protect the constitution etc., etc. blah blah. And that includes "Oathkeepers" And Oathkeepers should consider rallying to honor all victims of our police state, including those who are not Iraq veterans. With some 6 million people in some form of detention you'd think they'd find a few examples. Problem is, is that many Oathkeepers are SWAT or other kinds of cops carrying our these actions. That's hypocrisy.

Oh I got to make another comment. You Oathkeepers are only grandstanding this because this young man was a veteran and the circumstances of his murder are so egregious and there is so much sympathy for his cute wife that it makes for good publicity. Otherwise you don't care about victims like Jose or you would rally to their defense as well.

These "Oath Keepers", and I'm sure a lot of the officers involved in this murder were Oath Keepers, should keep their oaths and not carry out these operations. And why don't they ever carry out these operations in suburban (mostly white) neighborhoods? Jose probably didn't know what was happening and just meant to defend his family. And the cops "doing their job" shit their pants when they saw a guy with a gun. All this over a drug. A harmless drug.

New law in Indiana lets cops come into any home without warrants or anything and you can't obstruct them in any way. It's because they break into so many innocent peoples homes!!! Bad info, wrong address, or they just don't like the way you look. If people knew what really goes on and how often this happens, they wouldn't believe it. 3 people murdered by "cops" in Seattle this year.

This is very unfortunate and an outrage. Seems to be a growing trend ; that a lot of veterans who faithfully served are rewarded by persecution from our "government". I am still fuming over the tyranny of Randy Weaver.
