Files you will need in the "tethered" folder on your desktop are ;

1.kernelcache.release.k66
2.iBSS.k66ap.RELEASE.dfu

im sure if you go to google you will find them as a download! :)

@carlzeiss800 right, with the apple tv custom firmware you made...... change the .ipsw in the file name to .zip - once you have done that, unzip it to desktop then open the unzipped file, you will find both files inside! :) good luck and let me know how it goes!

This is really starting to fuck me off, its two thirty AM and i have tried this so many fucking times and every time i do this the apple logo comes up and then i get a flash of green screen and then nothing happens, the apple box wont start up or anything, i am just going to bin the fucker because i cannot find this problem anywhere else on the internet and it only occurs after downloading plex from either NitoTV or by doing it manually by SSH, please help. much appreciated.

ok so that's done and jailbroken. however I am having a lot of problems installing icefilms. First off I uploaded the repository file to atv2 with a file sharing program (i use a mac so had to download filezilla) When I go into XBMC - Settings - etc. I see the name of the file on xbmc when I go into the folder i don't see the actual zip file to install. What am I doing wrong?
