diesel > petrol, my friend. Nowadays diesel is the power, great torque, economic and the engine culture.

No matter what they do with it....it won't go over redline 4500 ("6000") rpm
It will always make that terrible truck noise when it stops at the traffic light.
Additionally people who place diesel cars versus petrol cars, need to think a bit.....every diesel today has a turbo, try adding a turbo to a petrol engine and see what happens!
I do admit that diesel consumption is a free ride compared to petrol cars, but it just doesnt feel like a car to me, it feels like a washing machine...

To be complete on the subject, diesel has won the 24hr Le Mans Race for years now : "petrol" engines can't beat Diesel at Le Mans

@szutsg euh, you see carmakers like lamborghini, ferrari or bmw make a v12 diesel engines? I dont thinks so. the only car company who did a attempt is audi with the q7 v12 tdi.
I dont prefer any fuel. I like petrol, like the murciellago and r8 spyder. and I like diesel in our own car, peugeot 607 2.7hdi(same engine as the movie). so every fuel is good if you use it for the right purpose. and diesel isnt "better"
