Orihime & Ichigo - When Two Worlds Collide

First of all, this is for you Amy. A very happy, belated birthday. I promised you this and Adam J. Shaw keeps his promises, albeit occasionally very late. I hope you enjoy it, I worked hard on it for you. :)


So whats the video about? Aside from being a gorgeous song and a chance to test some new styles its about the real story, im not gonna twist things here. Youll notice a big difference from the average ichihime video in that im not making this look like hes in love with her. I wanted to show two young people with their own lives and how, even being oblivious to certain actions from eachother theyve slowly began to form a unique bond that weaves them together whilst retaining their individual stories. They both have their own worlds and the point of the video is watching 'em collide. :D Orihime carries the weight of the world on her shoulders. shes endured kidnapping, emotional torture, physical beatings and humiliation. All the girl wanted to do was be of use and being just about the only normal character in the story, bless her, she just doesnt know what to do. Well someone get the nails ready, ill hang the cross on the hill. God forbid a 15 year old girl doesnt know exactly what to do in such situations. Perish the thought she depends on a boy shes very much in love with because shes just a kid. Give her credit though, most would take a bullet to their mouth but she keeps going and somehow retains that wonderful naivete that makes her so wonderful. Is she flawed? Immensely. Welcome to being a human being, but you know, i love her for her flaws because the decisions she makes, there is no right or wrong, in her case its just about surviving and trying to keep as many people alive as possible. Maybe they arent always the best but she does what she thinks is right and i dont think people should wish death upon her for that.

As for Ichi's character, i dont really need to explain his deal but i think he has a lot of trouble interacting with her. With chad he has the whole BFF thing, with Ishida hes got his rivalry and with Rukia, well shes kinda like a sister, friend and moral guide all rolled in to one, she is undoubtedly very special to him. Hes very rough with all of them though and always keeps up his bad boy front but with Orihime he always drops it like hes worried about scaring her, its the only time you see what the lads really like behind all the ''damn you bastdard!''s and ''Shut up, idiot!''s. The funny thing about him is that he really seems to need someone to need him, so that he can develop, without this he never goes anywhere. I dont think romance crosses his mind for a minute but after recent events this obsession with rescuing Orihime has obviously effected him on a subconscious level. Whatever it is, it has its foot in the door and i think fills in a gap that was missing within their team. I really dont care who, if anyone he ends up with but i hope they all get what they want and theyre happy, K.T has some great characters here and they deserve happy endings. =D

The video was just flawless, really moving and beautiful, but your text to describe it was even better, the way you described orihime, i havent read or saw bleach, but i always taught that they should be together, orihime and ichigo, and i really dont know why, but i just like her, she is sweet and soft, and i like this kind of characters because for me theyre more real, and because of that stroger! =D

Well, let's see. I've been a fan of your videos for a fairly long time now, and I'm not quite sure what's taken me so long to comment. But I'm commenting now, so that's what matters!

I think you have made some of the most amazing videos I've seen on youtube. The depth of thought and effort put into them is astounding. After going through them, I definitely saw Orihime in a different light. She is such an amazingly well crafted character, and you do an excellent job of showing her complexities.

I mean the last movie sort of told us... at the end, Rukia stared at Byakuya, Renji and Uryu stared at Chad, but Ichigo was all over Hime... PLEASE GOD AND KUBO!! ICHIHIME!

@DreamgirlBlue I havent seen that movie yet, is it out now? =O I think that in the new arc Kubo has gone in to overdrive expressing her feelings for him, they seem far deeper than they ever were, its gone beyond a crush, beyind idealism or romantic notions, shes seen everything there is about him and shes still heading down the love track like a freight train lol. Even Ichigo's been throwing a little attention her way. Worried about the subscription problem, i dont know why its happening ;_;

But I really do want Hime with him, it just seems right. The last movie kind'a seemed like a maybe hint but never do know though right?
