I think its obvious that Jordan was the better player but seriously MJ needed Scottie,when it comes to Scottie Pippen he may have been the Bull's 2nd best player but in no way was he a "sidekick",when Pippen stepped his game up the Bulls started winning championships,dont get me wrong I know MJ was great and was the driving force of that team but without Pippen MJ would NOT have 6 rings.Period

Scottie pippen was a lock down defender hands down, there were years that jordan would get the defensive player of the year award but pip would lead the bulls in steals rebounds and blocks. I believe that jordan couldnt win withoout pipen , if yaw noticed he didnt start winning until pips game developed

@Pacmanknapp24 Jordan would have easily made the Hall of fame in this decade. I mean Kobe is still considered one of the best of this decade, and Jordan was SCRAPPING him!

Again, in a time where the defense was much tougher and harder to score against, Jordan put up way better numbers then anyone around today. The game is slightly faster paced now because the league changed rules so that it could be.

I think Jordan on any decent team in the 90's was winning 6 rings. Pick a decent team, and Jordan was getting his rings. Scottie was NOT getting any rings without Jordan. Scottie would have been a good player, but not a single title would have went his way.

@Pacmanknapp24 The way the game is played now is geared towards players who can score. The defense back when Jordan played was INTENSE! He would have been dropping 40 points per game in todays league. Lets be serious. Pistons had a play that was basically to hurt Jordan physically when he drove to the basket.
