It's Going To Be Okay - Episode 28

Warning.

*Joe was in his room, lying on his bed, thinking about Demi. Trying as hard as he could to get her out of his head, he quickly gave up and decided to call Taylor*
Taylor: (Picks up) Hello?
Joe: Hey Tay.
Taylor: Joe? Whats going on?
Joe: Nothing. Umm, are your parents home?
Taylor: (Curious) No, theyre out of town for the weekend, why?
Joe: I was wondering if I could come over.
Taylor: I guess, sure.
Joe: Alright, Ill be there in ten.
Taylor: Bye (Hangs up)

*Ten minutes later, theres a knock at Taylors door. She walks downstairs from her bedroom and opens the door*
Taylor: Hey, Joe. Whats this random visit about?
Joe: (Without saying anything, he steps to her and kisses her)
Taylor: (Confused, but liking it, she pulls away for a minute) What about Demi?
Joe: What about her?
Taylor: (Smiles and kisses him again)
Joe: (Picks her up, wrapping her legs around his waist, and closes the front door. He walks upstairs, still holding her and kissing her. Once they got to her bedroom, he threw her onto her bed and started to take off his clothes)
Taylor: (Smiles and starts to take hers off as well)
Joe: (After they were both naked, he gets on top of her and starts to kiss her neck. He reaches into the pocket of his pants and takes out a condom. He puts it on and then thrusts himself into her, as hard as he could. While kissing her, he does it again, then again, and a few times more. Once he was finished, he gets off of her and lays beside her, breathing heavy)
Taylor: (Also breathing heavily, she smiles) Wow.
Joe: (Sits up) Yeah.
Taylor: That was
Joe: I know (Stands up and starts to put his clothes back on)
Taylor: (Disappointed) Thats it?
Joe: (Looks at her and smiles. He then steps over to her and kisses her lightly) For now (Finishes gathering his things and leaves)

*That day, before going home, Demi decided to go visit her Doctor. She had been having a hard time sleeping for the past while, so she thought maybe the Doctor would have a suggestion to help her. She knew that he wasnt usually in on the weekends, but the receptionist was always there, so she went to make an appointment*
Receptionist: Can I help you?
Demi: Hi, Im Demi, Im a patient of Dr. Henrys. I need to make an appointment for as soon as possible.
Doctor: (Walks out of his office, noticing Demi) Ms. Lovato?
Demi: (Turns around) Oh, hi Dr. Henry. I didnt think you were in on the weekends.
Doctor: Im usually not, but I had some paperwork to catch up on. Ive got a minute if you need to see me.
Demi: (Nods and then turns back to the receptionist) Thank you (Walks into the office with the Doctor)
Doctor: Its been a while since we last saw each other, Demi.
Demi: I know.
Doctor: How have you been?
Demi: Ive been better.
Doctor: (Writing something down) And I presume you were okay at school after you were released from the hospital?
Demi: I guess, yeah.
Doctor: So what seems to be on your mind today?
Demi: Well, ever since a few weeks ago, Ive been having a really hard time sleeping. All I can think about is what happened to me months ago, and what almost happened again afterwards, and I havent gotten more than two or three hours of sleep a night since. I never feel good during the day, and I think its because Im not sleeping. I was just wondering if there was something you could do for me?
Doctor: (Writing) Okay, well tell me, how is life at home?
Demi: (Sighs) The usual. My Aunt is raising me on the money my parents left her. She tells me almost every day that when I turn 18 I better be out of her house. Which I dont have a problem with. I knew she never loved me, not the way she should anyways. I was never anything but a burden to her.
Doctor: (Still writing) And what about your relationship with your boyfriend, Joseph?
Demi: (Looks down) Its over.
Doctor: Okay. I think what I might do is prescribe you some Zolpidem. Its a sort of sleeping agent. I will prescribe it for 10 days, this should help you with your sleep. Once its gone, I want to do a check up at the hospital, and take some blood, to make sure its not affected your liver. Given your history, I think that this will help you with a lot. Im giving you the stronger dose, I think it will benefit you the most (Writes the prescription) I will call it ahead so that it will be ready for you when you get to the pharmacy. Take it tonight before you go to bed. If it has any negative side effects, make sure you call my home number. I dont think it will but just in case.
Demi: (Nodding) Thank you Dr. Henry. And Ill make another appointment.
Doctor: (Smiles) I hope this helps you.
