Yours could still get impacted. I've heard of ppl keeping leos on sand for 10 years, and still got impacted. like you said, they live on the rocky, grassy parts. Not sandy parts. They lick everywhere too. Your uro will be fine. They live on it in the wild. I'm getting a uro too but I'm gonna use stuff like rabbit pellets.

not true gecko seek calcium and they will like the sand until they find it and actually uros live on sand in the wind and leos live in the rocky areas not on the sand its way more rock and grass than sand

He could actually get impacted in 1 day. When any small amout of sand mixes with their fluid. There is not much you can do.
