  • hey fr, what are u wearing in the beginning with your cassock? isit called a cape?

    like a camelengo.

  • @renshengmasituan It's a shoulder cape.

  • Do you get hot in all those vestments? They look very warm.

  • Depends on the church. I'm blest to have an air conditioned church. But, I have been in churches without air and it can be very hot! It's a sacrifice for Our Lord!

  • Like the cossack, the way every priest should dress.

Tell me Fr. why is the tabernacle in that little room and not at the High Altar?

  • This is my chapel in the rectory.

Um, at my own "novus ordo" church? And a maniple; and a roman chasuble and amice. And a crucifix turned with the corpus facing the priest. And six candles on the altar, with the tabernacle right behind it. And the priest's chair to the far side. And celebrated ad orientem.

  • Pax Christi tecum. Might I suggest, Father, you include the vesting prayers - which, alas, I imagine are seldom used nowadays, except by traditionalists like myself. "Set upon my head O Lord the helmet of salvation that I may overcome the assaults of the devil.", and the rest. As Holy Tradition teaches: 'lex orandi - lex credendi'; what we pray is what we believe.

  • What a load of bollocks. Usual novus ordo crap; totally invalid and no better than the prots.

  • @ktrcssukm The maniple is optional for the new mass and required for the old. Just like it's recommended that priests use a chalice veil, but when is the last time you have seen one of those at the new mass.

  • Very good video, thanks a lot and I send you blessings from Sweden! Pax et bonum!
