The Republican party hates big government and hates red tape... except when they're talking about abortion, at which point government should be right in your doctor's office and over-legislation is totally okay. All across America, a woman's right to make decisions about her own body is under attack, and Rachel Maddow isn't letting it slip by under the radar. From the May 19th, 2011 edition of The Rachel Maddow Show.

  • @ihateneveen I honestly don't even understand what you're trying to say about Al Gore and capitalism, so I'll skip that for now and end by telling you to lay off the hyperbole. You're not part of the Taliban and I never planned on implying so. I think you're uninformed, but I try to avoid calling people I disagree with terrorists out of the blue because the left gets it so much I'd feel like a hypocrite.

  • @ihateneveen Oh, look, more messages. Do you know anything about abortion at all? Nobody is forcing anyone to fund abortions, in fact federal funding has been banned since I think the 1970s (or maybe later, I don't quite remember but the point is it's banned). I think private insurance plans can do it, but that's the private sector so even conservatives can't say much about that.

  • Why are men allowed to vote on women's issues; especially this bunch of clowns!

  • Republican have to be hypocrites or they'd have no one voting for them.

  • @fuuuuuuugootube There is a difference between a womans body and a child's body. Abortion is murder, plain and simple.

  • Republican have to be hypocrites or else they wouldn't be able to control women's bodies and enforce their moral agenda.

  • @Marchant2 Pro-life and pro-war.

  • @ihateneveen yes Ireland has a very strong anti abortion stance. So strong in fact, approximatly 4,000 women leave per Day to travel to England for an abortion.

  • @ihateneveen

Would you care to actually provide a reply instead of believing that petty insults make you a winner some how?

I actually want to hear why you think my post was so worthy of ridicule, really

  • @LadyAmaltheaUnicorn Yes, because your claims were SOOO damn substantiated.

  • @ihateneveen

well, after the well thought rebuttal I've conceded my views

    *facepalm*

  • So if Rachel Maddow is saying that the pro-life movement has no credibility because (like EVERY OTHER fucking movement) has its share of hypocrites, then she should stop standing up for anything, being that hypocrisy is ubiquitous.
