Anyway, coming into this year, Kyle Orton was one of of only 2 NFL QBs that over the last three years had a TD/INT ratio of 2:1 or better.
Orton is not in a slump....it was Fox's offense. Also, note that through all this rigamoroll, Orton has been TOTALLY professional....he's kept his mouth shut and been a team player, never calling out his offensive line or his WR's.
Prediction: Orton becomes the 2nd Purdue QB to win the Chiefs a Super Bowl.

First of all, Orton is not chopped liver. This guy has gotten hosed in every stop he's had in the NFL- Chicago: rookie, never given full reins of the offense, but still managed to go something like 10-2, iirc.
Chicago 2-3 years later....Bears win the Super Bowl over the Colts if he plays instead of Rex 'let me throw 5 balls a game up for grabs' Grossman. After the Bears finally got rid of Grossman, Orton was solid. Denver,...he was solid under Josh McDaniels and that offense.

I grew up watching you in the 70's and 80's before leaving town. You were a capable and good follow up to Bruce Rice. I moved away to college in the early 80's but when I'd come home, you were solid. The last few times I've seen your work, it's this 'shock-jock' version of sports opinion...too animated. You lose credibility with it, though I realize you may gain viewers.
