Oregon state Senator Ginny Burdick addresses a group and calls for full gun registration, laughs about shooting victims, refers to "fringe" gun owners as being rude.

As a survivor of a victim of "gun violence," I can tell you nothing would make me happier than if this evil witch were instantly transported to Mars. My law- abiding husband was murdered because of the insanely restrictive gun laws of the time, and his blood is on the hands of the anti- self defense nuts such as Burdick just as much as it is on the hands of the person who pulled the trigger. When will people look at facts instead of emotion, and run these types out of office?

Then please explain why all this left fringe gun grabbing legislation is coming out of the Democrat party. I don't care what Reagan or anyone else did 20 years ago. This is a coast to coast march by the Democrats. (I consider McCain, Graham, et al as left wing nutjobs as well).

"Especially gun owners, need to participate now." Absolutely true. I urge all gun-owning Democrats in Oregon to join the Democratic Party of Oregon's Gun Owners Caucus (go to the dpo-dot-org website, click "Communities", then "Gun Owners".) Be sure to show Ms. Burdick that there are *many* gun owners that are Democrats, and that the majority of DEMOCRATS do not agree with her extremist views. (According to a recent Gallup poll, over 40% of Democratic households own a gun.)
