"The queen and the knight" [BOIT]

I started this video in October 2010, but because of contests and other projects, no inspiration and work I was never able to finish it until now. I'm so glad about this BOIT challenge because I wanted to finish it for such a long time, it is very dear to me.
Thank you so much for the help, Bee. You encouraged me the past days to finish it when I almost gave up on it, thank you, my love :)

Description:
The story is about a young lonely author. He just moves to a new place hoping it could give him the inspiration he needs. At first it doesn't seem to work, but one night he looks up and sees his beautiful neighbour. Inspired by her he starts to write a fantasy novel about a queen and her knight (who is his alter ego). He watches her, always too afraid to aproach her, but gaining more joy in writing again.
What he doesn't know is that she herself is just as lonely. Every relationship she has falls apart. After her last one she is so depressed she decides to kill herself. Very bad timing, he just got the courage to go and talk to her. She closes the door on him, annoyed by any disturbance. Watching her through her window he sees what she is trying to do and calls an ambulance.
Falling more and more in love with her he visits her in the hospital, becoming more like the person he is writing about, the knight protecting his queen. He puts a ring on her finger as a sign for his affection while she is ill and unconciouss.
Not only he was more courageous also his character finally admitted his love for his queen, finding out she returns his feelings. The author hopes it will be the same if he ever tells his muse his feelings.
But he becomes more and more scared again the less he sees her, the more he thinks about telling her his feelings. It affects the characters as the queen rejects him after they spend one night together, reminding him she is promised to someone else whom she soon after marries. Day and night the knight wanders the now empty castle, always thinking about his love and knowing it couldn't have been anyway, he had nothing to offer her than his love.
Finally the muse is released from the hospital. The author sees it, yet he is still too scared to talk to her again, while she wonders who gave her the ring. The nurses told her about the man who visited, the only person who cared enough. They described him to her, yet she doesn't know who he might be.
The queen's marriage grows worse, as the author grows more depressed. She is pregnant many times but never bears a living child as her heart is too broken. She only wishes her knight back at her side until they both can't bear it anymore. He promises to take her with him, to leave with him and live an ordinary but happy life.
The story is finished, but the author's story isn't. Guessing it could have only been him she goes to his appartment to wait for him there. He can't believe to see her there. She thanks him for saving her life and all his dreams come true.

Even though Ewan McGregor and Eva Green star in a movie together I used that one rarely. The idea about the pairing happened through a rpg, some time later we found out that they were working on a movie together. The whole story of the video is created by me, I only used those actors and clips from different movies to portray it the way I want. I also wrote all the texts that appear, I was thinking about uploading them somewhere, but they are too poorly written for that XD
For the story parts I used The Golden Compass, Kingdom of Heaven, Camelot and Star Wars.
For the rest I used Franklyn, Beginners, Moulin Rouge, The Ghostwriter, Eye of the Beholder, The Dreamers, Perfect Sense, Womb, One Day, Veronica Decides to Die, Troy, The Other Boleyn Girl, You've got Mail.

The story is beautifully unique and your editing spot-on. I loved the manipulations, how you showed the written pages. Everything flowed perfectly together.

Okay, I have to pause the video for a second because I'm just totally in awe of the concept. Putting aside the fantastic editing and sound choice, I love how he's writing the story and we get to watch both sides. It's a truly dynamic and very interesting thing to watch. You're amazing!

This is so utterly amazing! It made me want to cry! They finally found happiness... and then she dies anyway! This movie just needs to happen in real life. I would watch it so often! This is probably my favorite crossover you've done so far!!

I nearly jumped just by seeing the title in my sub box, remembering all your already beautiful previews...and then seeing the whole thing together was like seeing it anew, I am blown away, everything flows so brilliantly! The story's very compelling and I think the most original I've seen so far in the entries, and I love love how you blend the two stories together (the use of the clips with the text is just fantastic!) <3
