hi, i have amd phenom ii X2 550 3.1Ghz processor i jst had unlock my cores x2 to x4 but its not working properly after updating the x4 entirely system was hanging like idol within few minutes. That's why i could tried to make it 3 cores using with msconfig-advanced option-number of processors=3. working awesome, but i want x4 processor instead of 3cores..
My Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-MA74GMT-S2.
And how much voltage need to change while doing unlock....?????? Can u Pls explain me briefly...

I did the max level 10 Auto Clock using AMD Overdrive utility.
My MHz went from 3100.0 to 3114.0
I have the Phenom II X2 550 Non-BE
My temps are 42deg at idle, and 50deg at full load.
Anything wrong? im kinda confused....

Do people know that this Cpu is unlockable so here's good/and cheap Quad core cpu for ya ;) Ofc you need Mobo that can unlock but still :)

Should I buy this over the Athlon II X2 255? I am on a tight budget and I don't care about benchmarks, as long as real world performance is good I am happy. I do gaming at most.

@JorgeHGPR what you see in my video is real world. If your planning on playing games a lot a X2 255 isnt enough for the latest DirectX 11 games compared to the Phenom II. For everyday regular use, internet word processing, watching movies , yes the Athlon II 255 is enough.
