Positive shinging.
Gorgeous smile.
A personal life lived more in private than on the front page of the magazines.
They all were part of Brittany Murphy's signature.

You almost always knew what to expect from a movie she was in,and she never failed those expectations,especially if she had the right screentime - an hour and a half single view entertainment.And sometimes even more.

Although she starred in critically acclaimed A-list movies alongside all star casts or box office hits like Sin City,Clueless(next to Alicia Silverstone & Paul Rudd),Girl Interrupted(starring Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie),8 Mile(with Eminem & Kim Basinger),Don't Say A Word(in one of her most interesting roles next to Michael Douglas & Sean Bean) or Riding In Cars With Boys(with Drew Barrymore) - i liked her a lot more in those indies,low buget romantic comedies where she was the lead.

I selected some of my favourite scenes with her from various(some rare) movies :

Drive - with Marc Dacascos & Kadeem Hardison(her character delivers the greatest laughs in this action-packed,'Crank' style adrenaline bomb)

The Ramen Girl - with Sohee Park (including the funny dance)

Phoenix - next to Ray Liotta (their cool chemistry and short screentime they share represent basically the only feelgood moments(an extremely hot too) of a very dark and violent but brilliant cop crime)

Love and Other Disasters - with Matthew Rhys & Santiago Cabrera (from the list of the relationship based romantic comedies/dramas where she was the leading lady like Little Black Book,Just Married,Sidewalks Of New York or Uptown Girls i liked her the most in this flick focusing on the young american woman living in London and her circle of friends & the comic situations she experiences)

The Groomsmen - with Edward Burns.

She was one of those actors you didn't need to know personally to actually know her - she was basically almost the same in every film,giving something special from her real character to every role.
