Emilys POV: I was sitting under the tree think about Nick, Joe and Mark. Then I saw Nick coming to me with a box in his hand smiling at me. Then I remember it was my parents Anniversary.
N: {sits beside her} Hey honey what are you think about
E: Us, and Mark and what to say to him at Lunch
N: Oh are you okay
E: No Nick Im not {starts crying}
N: Emily whats wrong {hugs her}
E: Today is my parents Anniversary
N: Its okay Im going to get you brother {puts the boxes down and gets up}

Nicks POV:I was walking back to Mr. Martian class room when the bell rang. So I ran to his room. When I got there he was standing at his door.
A: Nick whats wrong
N: Its Emily she needs her brother

N: Its your parents Anniversary today
A: Okay where is she
N: Outside under the tree
A: Okay and just tell your teacher that you were talking to me so you dont have to get a late slip
N: Thanks {leaves}
Alecs POV: As I walk to go see my sister. I know how much she missed our parents a lot. When I got to the tree sis was holding a box and crying into her knees. Why did she have a box.
A: [Sits beside her} Hey sis
E: {looks up} I miss them so much
A: {hugs her} I know sis
E: Do you have class
A: No do you
E: Yeah art but I cant do anything so I get to miss it until I get my cast off
A: Oh whats is the box in your hand
E: Its from Nick but I have not opened it because I want him to give it to me when Im not missing mom and dad

E: Yes bro and I have to go talk to Mark

IN THE CAFÉ

Emilys POV: After Mark punched me I walked back into the café holding my eye with my hand and crying. Then Joe and Kevin saw me coming to the table but where was Nick.

E:I told Mark if he couldnt handle me with Nick then we couldnt be friends then he punched me {then I saw Nick running to me}
N: Honey are you okay
E: No Mark punched me and now I have a black eye
N: He is so dead when I get my hands on him

E: Because he is mad that you have me and not him and here comes Alec {hides her eye}
A: Emily how was the talk with Mark
E: Not good he gave me a black eye {uncovers her eye}

E: Yes your other Grade 10 or Grade 9 class
A: Grade 9 with Cody and Mark

A: Cody and another kid named Piper I should go see you in class {leaves}
N: So Cody is in a Grade 9 math class
