This video clip shows a few of our demonstration screens at the LDI show. As you can see, our technology makes bright animated line art on clear plastic film. Our film is 60" wide and can be laminated side-by side on glass to make displays up to about 9' / 3 meters x 9' / 3 meters square, with projection distances of roughly 3' (1 meter)-20' (7 meters). Alternatively, we can make glass available, with a layer of plastic bearing our nanoparticles embedded between two layers of glass. This type of display is ideal for installations outdoors, in new building construction, or for wet environments. As of November 2009 the glass comes in a maximum size of 1 meter x 1.5 meters, with size availability expected to grow with demand.
The point of differentiation with this technology is that is allows one to put animated messaging on completely clear surfaces. Nothing else does that. You can use posters. You can use opaque LCD screens. You can hang a TV in the window. You can frost a window translucent so it catches part of the projected light and project an image on it. But none of the alternatives keep the window clear, so you can use the window for what it is, a transparent barrier, and still see through it. With all alternative technologies, you might as well have a wall instead of a window. And we all know, windows are better and invite customers into the store. If they didn't, nobody would bother with them. Keep your windows. Use them for dynamic messaging with SuperImagings MediaGlass! Please visit superimaging.com for further information.
