@fgldnglbs The Comedy Central roasts are a joke. Filled with lewd, inappropriate humor. It's just not funny don't know how people can laugh at those jokes.

The Roasts had representatives of the top talent of their generation. You couldn't afford to have that level of talent in the same room for the same purpose today. That's what makes the Comedy Central Roasts so cheap in more ways than one. Neither the roasters or most of the roastees are A-list I couldn't believe the Shatner roast was nominated for anything(an Emmy if I remember correctly-I hope not). Why bother? This was how it was done.
