@pirate61ster It looks like a promo video for the Welcome To The Club live album, which was recorded at the end of 1979 during his U.S tour.

The tune is off of Ian's self-titled solo album shortly after Mott collapsed. I recall that album, being released about 1975. I'm not sure if he had teamed up with Mick Ronson yet though. What a great and under appreciated talent!

Brilliant Ian Hunter, Ronson - Mott were a terrific band, never mind the so-called big names at the time - this was great stuff

Saw 'em around '82 at Hampton Beach, NH w/the same band including Ron-o. Hunter threw his guitar into the crowd at the end of the show much to the annoyannce of the road crew. Amazing, awesome, unforgettable show. Everyone was going nuts.
