There are plenty of records. The thing is, every interemediary step between species is a species itself. And if you closely allign skulls or bone fragments of those species that have been descending from one another, you can clearly see a transition, and science has done just that.

i dont deny evolution but there are so many aspects being denied and not even LOOKED at in the THEORY of evolution (not its definition, but how it carried out its roll in the physical manifestation) - it would seem much too simple that any and every time we split it was a 2 way branch off - where does this put the relation of rodent and mice with us, as they are so close we use them to freaking study HUMAN medicine, many things over 90% related, but not cousin species???
