  • Great things come from small towns

  • One of the best bands ever - as we used to say back then, solid! Toy has got to be one of the most underated guitar players - He is one of the best ever. RIP boys. Man I miss the Carolinas, and their people. Took a trip to Germany 26 years ago, and never made it back. Lookin forward to goin home some day, front porch, Marshall Tucker tunes and a little weed.

  • I miss thouse guys!

  • Those guys are the coolest musicians i have ever seen in an interview.

  • @biggin2g Toy Caldwell died of a heart attack. George McCorkle died of Cancer and Paul Riddle is still alive.

  • toy caldwell is my like 7th cousin no joke

  • Another great band that could have their songs played on country , rock , and easy listening stations . . . i miss them dearly their music was so full of heart and although they were considered country rock i dont think you can put a lable on them they were . . . . . Marshall Tucker . . . . . . and yes God Bless them all . . .

  • VOTE for (the orginal) MTB in Rock in Roll Hall of Fame! GET THEM THERE BY 2011!

  • I believe Doug Gray,Toy Caldwell,George McCorkle and Tommy Caldwell were all in the military. I'm not sure of the others But i know Toy did serve in Vietnam.

  • This is great. I haven't seen it since it was first broadcast. Didn't watch it all now, need to wait till later. I miss Toy, Tommy and George every day. I'll never forget hearing Toy say he was " too fat" to be a rock start. What a good soul he was. All of them.
