  • Like others have said... yep it does have low fuel light when the tank is empty empty... it runs on reserve and light comes on... odo switches over to 0.0 and starts counting miles that you have gone on reserve.. 20 is good but around 28 It will be empty depending on how much twist of the wrist you have... I love my 09' added reckless fairing. Deluxe was too far out on production. Ride Safe

  • @Tricky76112

The shifter and brake are adjustable, at least on the 2011 model Cross Country.

  • My main concerns are; dealer network and cost so that puts Vic behind the 8-ball, pardon the pun. I know Vics are great bikes but I'm not sure I want to drive so far out of my way and spend whatever amount more for a Vic. I have no idea what the resale is like on a Vic because I don't recall seeing any used ones for sale. A Star Strat is a great bike too & very available and the resale is very buyer friendly.

  • @ddenny28 srry but it DOES have a low fuel light. everyone of them do.

  • Long live the Stratoliner: 2006 with 14K miles and still runs perfectly......

  • You must have never gotten low enough on fuel for the warning light to come on. Mine has one and they ALL have one. I can send you a picture!

  • Stratoliner Deluxe is equivalent to Cross Country. The Stratoliner (standard) is like the Cross Roads. I found both manufacturers' engines very equivalent, response wise as well as power/torque. It seemed to me that the Victorys have more cornering clearance. Being 6'1"+ I found the controls on all bikes well placed, with spacious ergos. I never felt cramped.

BTW, I love the floorboard scrapage! :-)

  • Actually it DOES have a low fuel light, it should come on when the trip meter starts counting backwards.

Should have waited for the Strat Deluxe, if it ever shows.

I did test ride one a Cross Country and if you are short, you will have a VERY hard time getting to the toe only (????) shifter and the rear brake. Great bike if not MASSIVELY underpowered, especially compared to the Strat.

  • The stratoliner doesnt have a low fuel light because it TELLS you when you have low fuel. The fuel counter will put a -F and start counting the miles...so you know when its low.

  • @ imaWannaBeHarlyLoser
