Jesus christ this is like my 9001st time uploading due to sound problems, anyway:
What a lovely way to christen the axe. I absolutely love the groove on this track, probably my favourite up against Sort Yourself Out/Alien Hip Hop. In fact the whole record is full of great abstract grooves.
I'm getting a lot more comfortable with the size/shape of the neck the more I play, which is a good sign. This was also an exercise in getting an amp setting that'll respond well in the low end, while maintaining a smooth lead tone. I think it's almost there.
More covers to come, hopefully. Peace.
@cope9 Yeah, it's still not quite there. The video doesn't do it justice, mainly cause I had to roll off a lot of the lows to stop it clipping. EMG707 in both neck and bridge, debating whether or not to change them.

excellent playing as usual! Tone is still a little scarce on the low end but it's hard to get the full low sound with that wet lead sound without super expensive equipment :p
Very nice choice of guitar, i always been a fan of the raw wood style guitars. What pickups are you using? they look liek they might be emg 81-7 and 707tw perhapss?
