I Have a similar Question I am a new mac user & I have Parallels installed so I can use my PC based Video edit apps. But when I connect a Video Camera to my Imac the Virtual machine does not see the Device connected Via Firewire so I tried to capture in Imovie & import to my program in my Virtual machine and I have not been sucessful with that either any suggestions would be GREAT!!

Actually, that's not entirely true. If you have the proper WMV codecs installed for OSX, then yes, you will be able to edit WMV files - provided you are using one of the apps that will support it (i.e. Final Cut Studio / iMovie '09[with a download] )

Yes, but not with your mac software, since Parallels Desktop 4.0 allows you to run Windows Vista, XP, Linux etc.. on your Mac, you will be able to edit .wmv files just like you do in Windows, but it won't change any of the mac programs to Windows Programs.

Hi. Just wondering, but can this program allow me to download .wmv file from Windows and edit the video file on my Mac?
Thanks,
Chris Hon
And blazing fast performance!!

I was behind the keyboard for the demo, and the gameplay was very smooth, even while running video capture software.
Windows is seen displaying in 1440x900 within a 30'' display. Screen capture ran on the Mac side. There was quite a bit of post-processing and format conversion, obviously.
I see what you mean where a couple frames are missed at that moment, and I believe it's from the video editing. Anyway, my apologies on that - I hope you enjoy the rest of the footage in this series!
