This isn't a thriller. Waltzes from Vienna (1934) can be considered as Hitchcock's only musical. Although he wasn't interested in the project, still he tried to put all of his touches in the project. Hitchcock worked with his wife Alma Reville and Guy Bolton in the scripting process. Erich Korngold and Julius Bittner did musical arrangement for this film. As for me, I love this film. Camera Shots are so brilliant. Waltzes from Vienna also contains lots of Hitchcock humor.

  • I can say this over and over I love the waltz.

  • MGM's "The Great Waltz" (1938) was equally schmaltzy but perhaps not as enjoyable!!!

  • konway, this is NOT part 7, this is part 8, I think.
