This is a 1/6th scale test of a hurricane wave/surge hitting a wood house in the Oregon State Tsunami Basin. At full scale this is about 3 ft of standing water in a 2,000 sq ft house with a 12 ft wave breaking (so it is the bore/surge from that wave). The project is a collaboration between Colorado State University and Oregon State University and was funded by the National Science Foundation.
