Kartoum's Uncle, Hakim Al'Khamsa, Pure-bred Arabian. Not sure how high, one comment is suggesting closer to 1.20m. Does anyone have any information on this competition, March 1995 at Le Grande Semaine de Fontainebleau? The only other info I had said "A-1". Not sure what that means, and is probably different that what it means in the rule books for 2009. Who says Arabians can't jump?

  • He really reminds me of a deer, just sprining effortlessly over the jumps

  • This arabian is amazing, and they say arabs can't jump! Reminds me of my arabian, always ready to get to the next jump, at a full gallop! HAHA, great job!

  • the jumps are 1m05min - 1m20 max The horse is probably only about six years old. (I compete in France and I asked my trainer what the ruling was in that year. He competed in that time period with several Anglo-Arabs.)

And Arabian horses so can jump! I took my 19 yro loan arab to a trainer at Barbaste and he jumped a 1m15! He jumps better than an 11k Anglo!

ps: search for this horse on ffecompet.fr, you can see most competition history.

  • @TopQualityRanching

He is Kara Khan X Soulah Bint Nichem. Most of his pedigree is Spanish Bred. Hope this helps xx

  • arabians r good jumpers cuz they got alot of spring in their legs

  • i ride on one to and it is the same one as in the movie but than he called : boy.

  • @HorsesRmyDRUGS I train arabs for a breeder and own several of my own, and each has a unique ability for jumping!! Some not as high as grand prix level, but they make beautiful hunters and have great frame over fences. :)

  • What breeding is this arab of? He is very forward and well built!! This looks like 1.30m!! Amazing, this deffinately gives our breed a good name!

  • It is nice to see other committed people who believe in arabian jumpers. My arabian stallion Al Ashar loves jumping, too. Take a look at his video on you tube.

  • are all arabs good at jumping ? just in my book it seys there only for riding, but this videos telling me something different :L

  • wowwwwww!!!!

  • @DokkasoStorm . Um... Kind of random I must say. I know my mare's pedigree inside out, I've been in the Arab world for quite a while I assure you. The reason for my comments was because someone implied that because she wouldn't jump that she is impure, which as I have said, is a false accusation.
