Thanks for the clarification and it looks like I mistyped in my last response--I meant to say that success is independent of personality style! (Helps to proofread, I guess:)). im an intj type 5,

i enjoy the ennegram types but i prefer mbti because of its relative precision, for instance one of the guys said "think too much and do too little" that sounds characteristic of an intp but not an intj who has a propensity to action, learning making value judgments and acting on them

Agreed. Detachment is not preferable; but rather the outcome of logical function in a world overly abundant with irrationality. The conclusions and natural laws which have resulted from my 23 years of observance and application are not conducive to accommodating irrational views, thus requiring a detached world in which I can relax.

My insight is scary at times. It is as if I can see the future and people don't believe what I am telling them until it happens a few weeks or months down the road. They didn't mention the need for privacy and I also abhor being interrupted when I am in thought, which is always. haha

Hmm, haven't you guys thought that maybe Billg is/was successfull because he had a strong 8 near him? Just because a 5 accomplishes something, doesn't mean all of suden is not a 5 anymore.

For instance, lance armstrong achived a lot, but i dont think because of that, he's automatically a 3, he's more like a 1.
