Stealing is stealing. 300 shillings maybe nothing to you, but there are people who need that money. When one person steals from a poor person, it starts the trend and has a domino effect. I'm not saying he should have been killed and I've seen this situation happen more than enough times, but you just can't steal from a fellow struggling man and think you'll go free.
