This is sad. Because Indian people no matter what complexion they are, are some of the MOST attractive people in the world. Sammy Sosa, the baseball player has apparently fallen into the guise of "white" is right too. I story about him led me to this Youtube link.

All hope of Shah Rukh ever crossing over to Hollywood is doomed by this ad! I'm an American who really likes SRK, but this is viscerally disturbing. No matter what justification anyone tries to give, in America this would be seen as inexcusable and unconscionable to people of every race. Not to mention that skin whiteners are banned in the U.S. Such a shame...

What a moron. These celebrities dont give a fuck about the sentiments of people or have any ethics. All they are worried about is making money. How the hell is fair skin associated with sucess of a person? Especially in out country, where most of the people have a dark complexion.

WTF, i believe indians either dont wana admit that they have dark or black skin color and secondly they are humans and in humans some are white, cocasian, brown, dark, black yet one shouldnt feel shame abt it.

This isnt fair i mean heaving an obsession with dark color, some times i find dark and black people more handsome then me. So complex of heaving a color can with black or white guy. Yet indians need to come out of this fact that these creams are worthless and degrading.

"Hi handsome?" WTF? I mean, how DID Shahrukh became such a big star when he's ugly by north indian standards which is also the bollywood standards of looks? I mean, if you're talking about a face, you look at Akshay or Hrithik or Arjun or almost any other b-wood actor who's far better looking. So, it must be his acting talent, right? Talent and intelligence win over looks. I mean, just look at Oprah, right?

I dont think Shahrukh should be blamed for that. C'mon he is getting paid a good sum of money and he is advertising it.
In India/Pak being fair is considered pretty/handsome by most people and who on earth doesnt wanna look good!?

Drop it guys!
