Wa alaikum as-salam. 786 is basically what you get when you assign numerical values to the arabic letters, and then sum the values to the letters in the Basmala.
In Islam, there is absolutely NO basis for substituting the Basmala with 786. This is a biddah, and please do not listen to any "ulema" who justify this action.
MANY words can total to 786, and since this is an INNOVATION, we have to remember that RasulAllah SAWS said that every innovation leads to the hellfire.
I've read it, but there no proof of what you have just said to be a fact for us to use it as numbers of faith.
I've 2 videos in regards of this issue 1 that i have done and 1 under my favorites and to understand the concept of deception of these number i advise u to watch both of the videos.
Dear brother as per u r knowledge u said there is no meaning of 786 and many of muslims believe faith in 786 number. My dear have read Quran. When see Quran u will find Zeir, Zabar, Pesh, Jazam, Hamza etc containg 786 (seven hundred eithty six) alphabetically. Thanks
Jezakallah for that, but that i already know, as i was also brought up like most of 786 believers, but now, i came to find that these numbers are just a Deceit to our Religion!
They don't exist in the Quran, they were simply made up, yet many of our brothers & sisters in Islam put faith in those numbers! Why?
Please check out my videos, one in particular about 786.
as far as i know the numbers 786 are meant to mean bismillah but this is only in the indian bangaldeshi and pakistani muslims as technically it dont mean nothing i may be wrong but this is what i have been bought up to believe w salaam
Assalamo Aleikum my brothers and sisters in islam. I've a simple question, but some of you might take it, in a offensive way, but please give it a thought and ask this same questions to others, especially our Imams (Teachers). My Question Is: Where did the numbers 786 originated from?
salaam who made the nasheed i need to know soon. thanks
