From what i've heard they train absurdly much and he would even like to train 80 hours in the week. This and the fact ?? that he hit her, eventually maked that she quited with him
The song is called La Mediteranneé. And i agree: the song sucks, the lady lacks a bit of level, the choreography is sometimes a bit corny-even for 1997- but people, look closer: you see Slaviks style already. In the end-this IS Slavik. I like the fun and love for movement!
@kasunsannie4life LOL-good one-except I thought he actually did connect with karina-their samba was too die 4-that one asian competition that they won like in 2004 or 2005-every dance flows and they are spot on-best dancing i've witnessed from him. but u made me LOL-so thanks!
the lady is lena, or Alyona Fedorchuk, a daughter of the trainer Valentina Fedorchuk, in whose band Slavik then danced.
Gosh, I still remember them, and the other couple (to the left from them, Natalya Bednyagina/Igor Shnurenko, behind them later the Champion of Ukraine in 10 dances Vitalik Rudenko.)

If this was 1997 and he was world champion in 2000 there must have been some amazing teachers and a great deal of hard work to change that much.

also I doubt, that it is 1997. I quit my dancing in that band in 1993. So, this here could be 1995 the latest.
