Mindless, irresponsibe breeding is ONE thing, (teenage kids still, unfortunately, do it all the time), BUT, raising a large family, with loving, healthy, respectful children, who grow to be responsible, decent people, learning early to contribute selflessly to those around them, their community, and society, is QUITE another!

Having children in today's times is NOT a duty. We have MORE than enough people in the world. It IS irresponsible breeding when you make your older kids raise the younger ones. When you start getting grandchildren, it's time to quit spewing out babies. Bible thumpers often hang up their brains in the name of religion.

Maybe to some people and to each his own. I was allowed to date when I was young. Once I reached 18 I didn't have to have a chaperone. It's all about trust. My mother trusted me. And, because she did, my dating experiences were innocent. Nothing bad came of them. I had strict guidelines. Like leaving the door open and parents HAVE to be home and curfews...etc. It's not horrible to let an adult date, alone. I find it critical to have alone time, but that's just me.

Actually, public schooling has failed miserably. Far too many people graduated out of highschool who can't read their diploma, can't cook, clean, obey their authorities. They disrespect their elders, despise family life (which is the basis of ALL life) and despise people of faith. No, Homeschooling is an acceptable alternative to rearing responsible, polite, service oriented citizens.

If there's a problem, let's get rid of the government, not the people. For thousands of years having children was a duty. A few odd people in the 20th century have no right to call family life 'irresponsible breeding'. Those are the people that need curtailed. God says when you trust Him and obey HE will provide. And I notice that every person who has ever obeyed the commands of scripture were excellent citizens So, WHO is the problem?

So anyway, back to the topic of this video. BOUNDARIES. Having a large family myself I learned a little trick to creating boudaries while vacationing at campsites. But some orange street cones (we used child sized cones) and set them around the perimeter of the campsite. The children were taught not to go passed them w/o permission. It worked great.

Nope. It's called reminding him to be responsible. And actually this was discussed as a family unit as they grew up. It's not sudden bossing or unable to cut the apron strings. Over the top is mindless dating and physical relationships...at any age.

She's a great mother to small children! But when her children become adults, she still treats them like children. I watched a segment where her 20 year old son was told he shouldn't kiss his fiancee until they were married, and they needed a chaperone when they went out. That's a little over the top...
