@ImTylerDurden99 i cant agree more...too many ppl complain about story in games and disregard GAMEplay... off course there are some games in wich story is amazing ...but this is bionic commando! its like asking sonic to be the next star wars! i really bought this game day one when i saw multiplayer , and i really felt sad when i realised it was dead :( it was challenging and i feel sorry that nowadays gaming comunities are full of people that really dont love gamming at all. great review thx

This is a fair review.
My biggest pet peeve is how fast you die in the water or if you get close to radiation.
But it's a fun game once you get used to the bionic arm's abilities. The music score is incredible, reminds me of Rambo. In fact, in many ways, this is a cyborg version of Rambo. I give it a 7 out of 10. Awesome rental but I wouldn't buy it. Even as I say that, it's still a damn good game and I think it's under-rated.

This is one of the first really good reviews I've seen of this game. This game is a completely underrated masterpiece. You did well in pointing out the shortcomings but just like you said, gameplay and swinging totally overshadow the problems. I just bought this game for $18 and would easily have spent the $60 if I was aware of it when it was released. $18 is a steal. And reading one viewers comments about number sold is really sad. A sequel to this game would be beyond epic. Cheers.

couldn't agree more. the multiplayer was really enjoyable as well, but the servers are dead nowadays :(

you talk about the gameplay but how about the story? story suck because it has no connection with the first one what so ever.

gameplay is what makes or breaks a game, and besides, the story from the original was almost equally non-existent
