It was the incredible bravery of the French ''cheese eating surrender monkeys'', who lost more than 800.000 (!) men within less than 2 months, defending their country that sealed the doom of the German army in September 1914.

Moltke was right, but it took 4 more bloody years to make the rest of German high command to realize this.

@3.15..the famed French 75 with a brilliantly simple breach and recoil mechanism that allowed between fifteen to thirty rounds per minute (count the image - five rounds in eight seconds). Modern weapons may be good, but you don't want to be downrange of that little beast with an experienced crew behind it.

nway ive already found it, im almost done with Vol3 ' and i must say, the documentry has been very very informative, so again thank you for your great work :)

im planning to move on to world war 2 after i finnish ww1.
