hello , I made the db but I can't connect to it .from sql plus : startup pfile:"init.ora path" but I get erro01078 . and from the enterprise after I log in with sys as sysdba I get internal error . can you help with this? thank you.
@swanbryan for some reason a lot of people trust in oracle more tha SQL server i thought is because oracle works very well with java and java is getting more support than c# for example and SQL server very well but just with microsft technology
Microsoft SQL Server is cheaper, and comes with free reporting tools and IIS - and free BI. And beyond that, the BI tools are integrated and much better.
Anyone who uses that Oracle Database is either a corporate goon or an idiot, probably both simultaneously.
Will the same procedure apply on Windows Server 2003?
