@TheDeg5555 Dead Space has used psycological horror fairly well. It's just not as prevalent as the gore and dismemberment. For example, every twist in both games were incredibly jarring in a psycological sense, but Silent Hill's the only game series to use that kind of horror throughout the game as opposed to a few tidbits here and there.

some people underestimate silent hill in comparation to other horror survival games, they don´t understand that silent hill has been the only one to use psicological horror the right way, the other series focus more on body or phisical horror (resident evil, dead space)

I felt so sorry the first time when i fought her, i liked Cybil very much..i was a kid playing it so i did´nt kne you could save her back then...I was like: Cybil, what the hell are you doing up there? no don´t tell me..and i could really think that it was that monsters doing>__>
