I like how the background music that plays whenever your in the blacksmith is a violin version of tails's theme from sonic adventure. Thats a nice touch sega.

I used to think of the blacksmith as one Muscular dude with a mustache and a hammer like Thor's. I was kinda taken aback when I saw it's tails.
