Traditional screening for heart attack and stroke uses a number of tests to determine your risk of developing the disease, but physicians are learning that those numbers are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to your true cardiovascular health.
University Health Care System is proud to offer the services of the Heart Attack & Stroke Prevention Center, located in the University Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute. The objective of our program is to assist in identifying clients with both traditional and non-traditional risk factors for heart attack and stroke.
