Silent Hill 4 - weapon charge exploit

You can use accumulated charge for any weapon. Contrast paperknife charge vs. axe/pickaxe charge. Using this trick, high-damage weapons become a lot faster to use.

How tricky would this be to use effectively? Would it have any use in the final battle with the rule set you were using?

Not too tricky, you just gotta let go of weapon-stance button momentarily while switching to a new weapon. On easy Walter, it might have a small use of getting strong attack ready before the final phase begins, saving a couple of seconds.
