The Early Explorer

This quick little animation was an assignment for my APCG 240 class, and it revolved around working with actions and emotions of characters.Animation was created at 24fps using Mirage 1.5, a fantastic program.
Sorry about the fuzziness, I had to lower the quality of the video before I turned it in because the file size was too big and it lagged really bad.


The story starts with our humble adventurer searching a familiar planet for a good place where he can set down his nations flag. However, the little aliens inattentiveness leads to a shocking surprise.

Hey thanks, I did tag it with apcg 240, not too many people seem to use it though they should. And I'm satisfied with its completion, I know people expected the comedic ending that I showed the first week, but I thought an unexpected twist might add something more.

Hah, hey Josh. Just realized your animation was one of the first related videos suggested on the one I did for class. Probably cause we both tagged it with APCG 240? Anyway, good stuff! I like how yours turned out.
