reiuyi & Akhts - Mon Frère (French Fandub of Bratja, Fullmetal Alchemist)

Akhts made a new channel over here http://www.youtube.com/akhtsnozone if you wish to know more about the singer. A while back, Akhts and me made an arrange of Bratja together; it can be found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8o5YMxfjWE . The arrange featured the original Russian lyrics and not all that much was done to the instrumentation. For this song, we have translated Vic Mignogna's English lyrics into French (double translations are usually a bad idea, but I know no one who speaks Russian). My part was redoing the instrumentation. My ensemble plays in my favourite key and much time was put into the background vocals. We are not entirely satisfied with the main vocals, but we shall leave it at this, not to dwell on this particular song forever. Though the title suggests this is a "fandub", the original OST was not used for producing this song. All which you hear is produced by the two of us. All work performed in fruityloops. No voice-alteration was performed.
