runners do exist. when i was a kid (8 through 11 yrs) i was a runner. heck, we even called ourselves runners! there was a lady (name will not be disclosed) who played the role of Merc. she gave us the goods (unlike mirror's edge where they transport physical goods, we only transported info through speech), we "ran" to relay it to our clients. good times! i wonder, if i were to go back to my hometown, if things are still the same and if there is a new generation of runners.

In ME I me and my friend got the feeling that Jacknife and Faith had been together and after the cut scene after either ropeburn or new eden I wanted to know more about jacknife

It's a shame this game wasn't very popular. I loved it but I wish that it was less of a ridiculous story line and more about carrying information between organisations. I think there was only one reference to what the runners actually do in the game, and that was in the prologue where you throw a bag to the other woman. I'd love to see a longer, more in-depth and relevant story for Mirrors Edge 2 (If they ever decide to make it - It'd be a huge shame if they didn't as it's a great concept).
