The Dead Ringers impressionists have fun with the idea of Her Majesty being a guest on Ricky Gervais' popular comedy sitcom, Extras. Hilarious free comedy clip from the BBC.

  • BRING BACK DEAD RINGERS

  • Merchant's voice is spot on, I think, but Gervais is disappointing. I probably wouldn't have even guessed whom he was playing had I not known. Voice needs to be higher and more squawky, and Gervais has so many mannerisms to send up, but Culshaw misses the opportunity.

  • i actually think he does a good ricky gervais/david brent..

  • I wouldnt mind but his Gervais isnt even that good.....

  • Let's be honest here. Culshaw is a great impressionist, but the rest are all crap and the scriptwriting really could be a hell of a lot better.

  • The impressions are more of David Brent and Darren Lamb than Gervais and Merchant. Fail.

  • This is fucking shit. Shit comedians pretending to be great comedians

  • @sinceilostmytooth I dunno, but in a "basic" kind of way, the impression of merchant was quite good, although I don't like basic slapstick comedy - but then again, just this time, the fact of Steve Merchant being so tall and being "out of sight" got me funnybone, although...oh, y'all get the point.

  • @RisingDampChamp hmmm...or maybe it's just that I dont spend all my life on youtube.

    loser.

  • @RisingDampChamp Also, what kind of evidence is the fact he's on TV towards being funny? I ask because some of us don't live in cukoo land, where only those who really deserve to be on TV are, occasionaly, and this might well be a shocker, people with little talent do well for no good reason. Whilst it would be unbecoming to pander to the popular jokes, I can't help but feeling ariel bombing your land of fatuous points with such examples as Bieber and the X factor would do us all a land of good.
