No wonder the Republicans took over in Nov 2010! The people of NH finally realized the snakes these vile Democrats are! They are the party of minorities and criminal only!

As laws goes this is one of the less bad...however how about trying a different approach. Instead of proposing a punishment that will boost taxpayer expense, maybe propose an elimination of certain laws that impose a chilling effect on self-defense. That would reduce both prosecutions, state expenditures, and crimes.

The house refused to even discuss the bill. A true sign of cowardness. How come the fine people of NH elected so many cowards?

There are good, principled reasons to believe the State does not have any power to kill one of its Citizens, no matter how heinous their crimes - the State does not create life, so it does not have the power to take away life.
However, it does not hold therefore that the State has continued obligation to protect these miscreants from other members of society. Withdrawing State protection and the promise to prosecute violations of such would allow Society, not Government, to remedy the problem.
First they take away our guns, then they protect criminals.

The worst part of the House's action is that the Democrats marched in lockstep, like jack-booted Nazis, voting, in effect, for the PARTY, instead of voting their concience or the will of the people.
