Lowering the 69 VW Type 3 FRONT- Part 1 of 2

This video shows how to lower your Type 3 by adjusting the torsion bars. There is a mistake at about 3:40. I meant to say that inner splines move MORE than outer splines.

I just bought a 69 variant and its lowerd and i need to lift it alltogether cause the font wheels when steering hit the body.

So seeing your video make's me convident to do all this myself. thank a bunch.

to lower the rear of a 66 is easier. is almost the same process but you have to take out the plate and put it 1 up or 1 down. how you like it

nevermind, got that thing lowered up front 2 inner splines, and it looks good, im gonna lower the rear sometime soom, thanks for the informational video!!

ok, i need some help, i cant get the control arm to jack up so i can release the tension, it just jacks up the whole car, yours has already been lowered so it was easy for you, but for me wtf do i do, please respond it is all tore apart right now and i need to get it done thanks
