Yup. Jailbreaking is basically hacking your itouch. You know about the hacking of the PSP to cusomise it? It's kinda like that.

Well that's a part of it, it also let's you customize the look and theme of it, lock screen, sound theme,.. all that stuff. That's why alot of people choose to do it. Spirit is the best program to use. It's the only one that has worked for me.
