Chef Rémy Ratatouille Living Character | Disneyland Paris

For a while now Rendez-Vous des Stars Restaurant has taken on a light 'Ratatouille' theme, boosting itself with the success of Pixar's culinary film delight.

But... say you wanted to meet the chef himself. Now, you can! Walt Disney Studios Park is now home to first and ONLY life-size animatronic Rémy the rat, donning his chef's hat to visit the tables and entertain the guests.

This is the latest in a string of 'Living Characters' (such as Stitch Live!) developed by Walt Disney Imagineering to bring the famous characters to life in new and ground-breaking ways.

Ha, I love the Living Character Initiative and I hope we see more progress with it. They need to let Remy speak normally though, and he needs better movement too. I actually think they should give him and his fellow rats an animatronic show in "The Land" though, like an updated Kitchen Cabaret.
