  • Anyway, who has the most goals for a defenceman in NHL?

  • Ray Bourque

  • Coffey is not the all-time goals leader for a defenceman numb nuts.

  • Thanks, I know. You're not the first to point out my mistake (of which there are many in this video). But thank you for calling me numbnuts.

  • What, no highlights from his days as an Oiler? Some of his best seasons were in Edmonton-how could you leave that out?

  • See the video's info... the intent was only to highlight the pittsburgh years

  • This man is the reason why I my hockey number is 77 and I have been using sherwood sticks for over 10 years.

  • the best

  • I'll be cowkicked!

  • NHL Career Goals ... Top Five:

410 by Ray Bourque in 22 seasons

396 by Paul Coffey in 20 seasons

340 by Al MacInnis in 22 seasons

332 by Phil Housley in 20 seasons

310 by Denis Potvin in 15 seasons

  • I didn't know he was a captain of Pittsburgh Penguins...:P I guess when Mario Lemieux was out

  • the only defensive thing he did was line up behind the forwards at the faceoff that was the only time he stayed in his own end.... I guarantee he only had like 2 minutes of shorthanded ice time in his career... great freaking skater though

  • @RichYan33 he played 90% of his carreer with 2 teams (and went where the money was for his last years). Could you blame him?

  • @tkrotch09 No....BUT he did wear a size 6.25 skate (about 2 sizes too small). He would actually take a router to the inside of his skate to make a little more room for his big toe.

  • @cjmahoney Lockerroom cancer??? COMPLETELY UNTRUE!! In 1987 He transformed the Penguins from a locker room joke to a team that was proud of their rink and fellow players. He brought pride to the Penguin's players and staff and switched the focus of Management (who's owner at the time was more concerned about the 49'rs). I know that for a fact.

  • @gqbed What you should have shown was in 1986 he had 48 goals (Most of any defenseman in one season).
