Perez Prado - Cerezo Rosa (Cherry Pink & Apple Blossom White)

Ordinarily I would prefer to post the original version of any hit recording, but I'm making an exception in this instance only because this is an expanded arrangement of the original "Cerezo Rosa" (aka "Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White") by Perez Prado. The song itself was composed by French composer Louiguy and was a very popular French number entitled "Cerisier rose et pommier blanc". Perez Prado's version was the #1 song in the nation for an astounding ten weeks during March, April, and May of 1955.

@TheJavierm7 Lo mas importante de éste tema es que en 1955 duró 10 semanas en el top de billboard: desde abril 24 hasta julio 2 ,convirtiendola en la canción más importante de la decada de los 50's.

@miranda7771 Pero conviene recordar que "Cerezo rosa" alcanzó notoriedad al incluirse en la Banda Sonora de la película "La sirena de las aguas verdes" (Underwater!), a pesar de que esta superproducción de 1954 había sido un descalabro económico del famoso Howard Hugues, que quiso convertir en superestrella a Jane Russell.
