@jknacasual yeah i heard y'all got quite a lot too...good thing about mountians is the water goes down fast...bad thing is water goes down fast!...sure makes you appreciate the words "flash floods"...here the water is slower to recede..typically..but this time people are saying "everything was fine and 15 minutes later water was coming in the door!"

When I buy my house one of the first projects will be rain catch but you're right. Proximity to water is going to be one of the things I look for. While I'm saving up for it I'll be shopping and refining the list of what features I want the property to have.
